O bmxer Espanhol Ruben, entrou no projecto de construção do maior quarter pipe. É curioso facto da rampa ter 8 metros de altura e eles voam mais de 4 metros. Parece que perdem metade da velocidade a chegar ao topo da rampa..? no entanto é medonho.

A verdade é que loops fechados á poucos, pois aquilo não parece nada fácil de construir.
Espero muito um dia construir um, antes disso ainda me falta ter um bom spot, onde valha apena o trabalho de construir lá. Suponho que em Portugal ainda ninguem fez o loop, serei eu o first? vamos ver.. lol.
Resumindo a cena, é construir duas rampas com o mesmo tamanho em sentido oposto, a parte mais complicada é depois fazer a ponte entre a crista das duas rampas, ai é muita matemática.

Nuno Pintas venceu o Happy Ride!
No famoso dirt de La Poma, estiveram a competir grandes nomes do FMB, mas Nuno Pintas conseguiu a melhor run, vem destacado dos restantes.
Pintas fez uma manobra bem dificil, 720º com Barspin, que valeu muitos dos pontos. Agora a Europa e o mundo já ficam a conhecer este Pintas, pra mim já mostrou muito potencial, claramente pode vir a ser um dos melhores dirt jumpers na Europa. Portanto não me admira nada, que finalmente cheguem os grandes patrocinios. Espero que sim!

Como sabemos é muito perigoso circular na cidade, e nas estradas, é preciso muita atenção, ainda é pior para quem anda em brakeless.
O melhor na minha opinião é procurar atalhos e circular mais em zonas pouco movimentadas, para diminuir os riscos.

Shot over 3 days of blistering heat hundreds of miles from the nearest major city of Perth. The video takes place in the rock jungle gym that is the Hyden Wildlife Park for what is the world’s first attempt to drop in on this rock of historical significance.

Danny Campbell negotiated the difficult and dangerous terrain with relative ease after spending a half-day scouting. The rock which appears deceivingly smooth to the naked eye is wicked rough with large elevated patches of uneven surfaces and took all his tactical finesse to negotiate.

In partnership with mb! by Mercedes-Benz Magazine, Mercedes-Benz Australia provided the use of a new G350 BlueTEC Edition to facilitate the camera crew and talent negotiating the difficult outback terrain in the process of shooting this piece.

Mas é um lugar impressionante, tal como outros parques naturais da Austrália que já foram mostrados aqui no blog.
